Thomas Walter Cox, 66 years old, passed away May 3, 2026. He was a dedicated and hard working individual who spent over 40 years with Armellini Logistics in Pierson, Florida, before retiring. Throughout his career, he was known for his strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment. He logged over two million miles and earned numerous safety rewards. Thomas was a loving parent, survived by his three children, Jason Cox (Jackyln), George Cox (Heather), and Courtney (Joseph) Hopkins. He also leaves behind his brother, William (Paula) Cox, and his three sisters, Janie North, Charlene Boggs and Amanda (Andrew) Bontrager, along with six cherished grandchildren—Maci, Masen, Aria, Aubrey, Lucy, and Emery—who brought great joy to his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Nadine Cox, as well as his sister, Donna Busbin and half sister Margie Cox Deaton. Outside of work, Thomas had a passion for woodworking and fishing. He was well known for his sense of humor, often sharing pranks and practical jokes with family and friends. Above all, he treasured spending time with loved ones, creating lasting memories with his family. A service will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 11am at First Baptist in Barberville. He will be remembered for his hard work, his jokes, and the love he had for his family.
