Veronica Ann (Coffey) Lancaster

Veronica Ann (Coffey) Lancaster, born November 10, 1962, in Illinois to David and Elizabeth Coffey, passed away on March 31, 2025, in Orange City, Florida. 

Veronica graduated from Lafayette Jefferson High in Lafayette, Indiana in 1981, then attended Indiana Business College for accounting. She was a sales clerk at Five Point Bargains in Lafayette for several years before starting work at Steinmart. She was employed at three different Steinmart stores over 20+ years in Lafayette, Indiana, Daytona Beach, Florida, and Altamonte Springs, Florida. After Steinmart secured a position at the Deland Florida Walmart Neighborhood market. She was still employed at the time of her death. 

Veronica enjoyed spending time at the beach, she loved being near the ocean. She enjoyed drives throughout the Florida countryside. She enjoyed her family most of all, and always was thrilled to see her nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth (Betsy) Coffey née Schaff, her father David Coffey, and her younger brother Michael Coffey. 

She is survived by her beloved husband, Darrin Lancaster, and her sister, Christine Cartwright née Coffey. Veronica’s memory will be treasured by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
