Wallace Conrad Bailey, age 76, of Pierson, Florida, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2025, at AdventHealth DeLand. Born on March 27, 1949, in Folkston, Georgia, he was the beloved son of the late Elbert Hardy Bailey and Aurora Virginia Diekel Bailey.
Wallace served our Country proudly by enlisting in the United States Marine Corp, serving in Vietnam with the rank of Corporal.
Upon honorable discharge, Wallace began a dredging and dragline business (Wally Bailey Dredging) that took him all over the country for over forty years.
Wallace enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing, golfing, Nascar, Dirt Late Models, and the NHRA. He also loved watching classic Western movies and was a proud Florida State Seminoles fan.
Wallace was a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather and great-grandfather, and a cherished brother.
He is survived by his devoted wife of over 40 years, Carolyn Bailey; daughter Anna Peele (Loren); sons Wallace Bailey (LeeAnn) and Chuck Robinson (Renee); grandchildren Taylor, Corinna, Macy, Sienna, Shelby, and Chris; great-grandchildren Briley, Brixtyn, Brielyn, Olivia and Xander; as well as his brothers and sisters.
Wallace was a member of Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Pierson, Florida where a Memorial Service will be held on July 12, 2025 at 1:00 pm located at 139 S Volusia Ave, Pierson, FL 32180
