William "Phil" Hopkins

William "Phil" Hopkins passed away peacefully on March 25, 2025, at Halifax Hospice in Orange City, Florida, at the age of 91.

Born on April 25, 1933, in Springfield, Illinois, Mr. Hopkins served his country honorably as a veteran of the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 60 years, Constance “Connie” Hopkins; and by his sons, Bill Hopkins and Steve Hopkins.

He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Robert Hopkins (Jenny), Jessica Bennett (Phil), Ryan Hopkins, and Christopher Hopkins (Allyson); and great-grandchildren. 

A public viewing will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Allen-Summerhill Chapel. A graveside service with military honors will follow at 11:15 AM at DeLand Memorial Gardens.
