William L Welch

William L Welch, born on July 20, 1929 in Georgia, passed away peacefully in Orange City, FL on September 6, 2023.

William Welch spent his early years serving his nation diligently as an Air Force veteran. William was also an ardent enthusiast of the great outdoors. He spent a significant 25 years of his life in Alaska where he indulged in his interests of camping and fishing. His zest for adventure was second to none.

He was predeceased by his parents, Homer and Annie Welch, wife Lyndal Welch, previous wife Viola, SIblings Homer Floyd Welch, Roy Welch, Paul Welch, Gene Welch; and beloved son, Michael. He leaves behind a legacy which shall be carried forward by his living family members – his son, David Welch; his daughters, Robin Patterson and Eva Buck; his siblings, Ola Purvis, Jimmie Ruth Wilkes, Shirley Hunter, Linda Gasperson, Donald Brooks Welch, Cynthia Maskell; his grandkids, and many more who had the pleasure of knowing him.

The life of William L Welch will be remembered and celebrated for its unwavering spirit and resilient love for the family.
