Yolanda Elizabeth Allen, 77, of Deltona, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2025 surrounded by those she loved.
Yolanda is lovingly remembered by her three children: son Richard Kinslow, Jr. of Deltona; daughter Sally Martin of DeLand; and daughter Mary (Diane) Kierstein of Deltona. She was a proud grandmother to eight grandchildren and a cherished great-grandmother to nine. Yolanda was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Evelina Allen; her beloved brother, Alfred “Levi” Allen; and her oldest grandson, Justin Barbery.
Known affectionately as “YoYo” by those who knew and loved her, Yolanda spent much of her career in retail, retiring from Wal-Mart after 17 years of dedicated service. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life — a good crossword puzzle, the rhythm of southern rock, and the timeless music of Bob Seger.
Yolanda’s vibrant spirit, warm heart, and sense of humor will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral services are being handled by Allen-Summerhill Funeral Homes. A service celebrating Yolanda’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10th at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Church, 2813 Howland Blvd, Deltona, FL 32725.
